MAYER Peace Collection

MAYER. Peace Collection represents a fusion of fashion, charity and the possibilities of reusing materials in a very appealing and interesting way. Every garment is hand-made giving old fabrics new life that is inspired from the stories of their past. Some materials Christine Mayer uses include old flour bags from the 1850's, antique linens, and table cloths. The materials are then embroidered with beautiful designs. We love how she uses rough materials, but gives her garments a very feminine fit and intricate network of embroidery. Her designs are made for a strong independent woman! Mayer also gives a part of her earnings to charities benefiting children in Nepal and India. You can see more of her collection here.
